How To Get Work Done While Working At Home?

Most of us are expecting even more government lockdowns and border closures in the coming weeks—if we are unable to contain the Covid-19 spread. For freelancers like us, the feeling of lockdown isn’t really impacting us, since we are used to be working from home all the time.

But regardless how prepared we are, we cannot control the environment and it is common for us to feel vulnerable, worried and above everything, not productive.

What you will find next are some of the best tricks I use to get shit done while working from home.

Top Business Ideas You Can Do From Home

Let’s make this year a year for making money with these awesome small business ideas.

    Tell Me More

Keep a set schedule and find time for breaks

The most important part about getting things done while working from home is having a schedule. A schedule can be many things (depending on your liking and preferences).

For me, my schedule is divided into morning, afternoon and night routines—each one ‘set’ consists of working, networking, taking breaks, moving around, working out and spending time with my wife and two kids.

Build A Schedule When Working At Home

Working from home means I am always accessible to my laptop, thus my homepage is Google Keep. It is free to use, easy to navigate and plainly simple to get all my tasks done on time.

I also know many other bloggers who use Evernote and Trello for their daily to-do list (which work well too).

    Keep your furry friends busy

For you who have pet(s) at home, you know exactly what I mean!

They need our attention and it is important to spend some time with them daily too.

Having them is good for companion but they can be a huge distraction.

When I write, I need to be in absolute quiet mode. A little noise will sway away my idea and mood—affecting the quality of my writing.

Take care of yourself and be mindful of your mental health

I used to work 5 hours in a row without any breaks in the middle and I noticed that I am less productive that way. The right way is to take a break once every 2 or 3 hours of work.

Working from home can be a little quiet because it is always you and the laptop. Therefore, use the breaks in between to communicate with your housemates, spouse, kids or even do a simple Facebook/YouTube live!

Mingling around after hard work will bring you back to track and feeling lively.

Every night, I spend a full hour reading to get new ideas and to relax my mind. Click here to get some of the best books (that I personally love) on Amazon.

Strictly No Social Media During Work

Social media is one of the biggest distractions for me. When I work, I turn off or close any possible connections with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.).

When I exclude social media in my work, I noticed that I’m more focused on my work and I am able to concentrate better too (no distraction from the notifications).

Avoid Social Media When Working From Home

Typically, I use the old-school way where I turn off my phone or close any browser related to social media.

You may also use these tools to help you to get more work done when working from home:

    Clarity And Persistent

If you want to earn money online and work from home, you need to have both clarity and persistence.

    Wait, what does this means?

Remember the part about having a schedule?

Clarity means that you know exactly what needed to be done for the day (which you had outlined them in the to-do list).

Persistent means that there will be many distractions that will sway you away from completing the job at home.

    Clarity And Persistent

If you want to get shit done while working at home, you need to make sure that you complete all the tasks given in a single day without bringing them forward to the next day.

    Make no mistake.

It is okay to bring forward some tasks to the next day if you are feeling unwell (for example), but having too many of these will train your mind that “it is okay NOT to complete the work on time”.

Get Help To Get Job Done

Most freelancers who work from home will feel that they are alone fighting the never-ending battle.

What they didn’t know is that help is always just one step away.

Help comes in many forms and for me, help means getting the right motivation to keep moving forward even when the odds are against me.

    Getting Help

For me, I use a mixture of videos and books to keep myself motivated throughout the day.

Here are some of the best videos and books you should be watching and reading today:

    Excellent Motivational Videos

Books That Will Change Your Freelance Career

Summary: How To Get More Things Done While Working From Home?

Let me remind you that there will always be challenges and distractions when you decide to work from home (especially with the Covid-19 world issue).

There are many productivity hacks that you can practise, including the above ones to ensure that you are working at your level best.

With this, I hope that you are taking care of yourself from the deadly virus (Covid-19) and at the same time, making enough money to sustain!

The ULTIMATE Guide To Start A Travel Blog

Want to become a travel blogger and stat travel blogging? Today’s guide is all about how to start a travel blog as a Malaysian!

Let’s dive deep into the real definition of travel blogging.

How To Start A Travel Blog In Malaysia?

    What Is Travel Blogging?

    What Is Travel Blogging

Bloggers who travel and document their travelling are known as travel bloggers. Travel bloggers can be digital nomads and at the same time, they can do it for the passion of travelling.

Travel bloggers don’t make as much money as affiliate bloggers, but they certainly have higher chances to enjoy top-notch services, hotel stays and other forms of payments.

As Malaysia is home to dozens of tourism spots, it is really easy to start a travel blog.

But before that, let me answer your biggest question of becoming a travel blogger.

How Much Do Travel Bloggers Make?

How Much Do Travel Blogger Make In Malaysia

Popular travel bloggers make a decent income between RM 5,000 to RM 15,000 a month. These earnings can be in the form of cash or related experiences and products. For example, sponsored hotel stays, complimentary food and beverages credits and many more.

At the same time, travel bloggers do make side incomes through Google Adsense either by displaying banner ads on their blogs or/and in their YouTube videos.

    How To Start Travel Blogging?

Now that you are pretty sold on starting a travel blog, let’s get into the juicy part on how to start a travel blog (and make money from it).

There are 6 steps and here is the list.

6 Steps You Need To Follow To Start A Travel Blog

Step 1: Get a domain and web hosting

Get A Domain Name And Web Hosting

Start by choosing a good domain name for branding. If you have no idea where to start, here are some nifty tips to choose a good domain name.

    Next up is web hosting.

The choice of web hosting is very important … even if the blog is brand new. Using the right web hosting service will ensure that your website is always up even in the darkest moment.

Want to start a travel blog in Malaysia?

Go with Exabytes and it costs you under RM250 per year (for both domain and web hosting).

    Step 2: Install WordPress CMS

There is no doubt. Install WordPress CMS and it will get your blog rolling under 10 minutes. Exabytes offers cPanel (server management tool) that allows you to install WordPress CMS in just 1-click.

Step 3: Get a good WordPress theme

    WordPress Theme For Travel Blog

Starting a travelling blog means you need to have a visual WordPress theme a.k.a. a WordPress theme that offers a lot more visual than text.

The success of any travel blog depends heavily on your ability to turn website visitors into bookers (book hotel rooms) or clicks on advertising banners.

I have a travel blog site which I update from time to time. You can take a look at it here: TravelAssociation.net.

I’m using Divi theme to create visual more than words.

Step 4: Publish ‘thoughtful’ posts and guides

Starting a travelling blog in Malaysia is not just about posting about travelling related matters. Instead, you need to focus on publishing posts that answer the questions and providing solutions.

In other words, you should gear your content to topics like these:

    • The ULTIMATE Guide to Experiencing Authentic Nyonya Food in Melaka
    • Top 10 Things Recommended By Penangites
    • How To Spend 3D2N In Ipoh?
    • How To Travel Around Malaysia For Only RM500?

What do the topics above have in common?

They are specific and they provide answers to what the public is asking for.

    Step 5: Be socially active

Social Media Marketing For Travelling Blog

The best travel bloggers in Malaysia are always posting on Facebook and Instagram.

    Why?

Because this is exactly what viewers are looking for—they want authenticity and real photos. Not just those who are done via Photoshop or through massive edits.

Since you are using social media, it is important to have your branding up. This means that you need to keep the same professional tone, contents and verbiage at the very least.

If you are brand new and had just started a travel blogging career, do not expect to gain popularity overnight. It takes anywhere from 3 to 6 months to grow your popularity.

Step 6: Keeping your eyes open

The last step is to follow and keep up with the current travelling trends. For example, Covid-19 outbreak is crippling the tourism industry in Malaysia and overseas. Publishing blog posts on the best travel location in Malaysia will not make the cut.

Instead, focus on sharing information such as what you can do if you are currently residing in a foreign country and how to stay safe when travelling from one location to another.

    Summary: Start Travel Blogging Today

Starting a travel blog is by far one of the best ways to make money from home in Malaysia. Not only you are able to work from the comfort of your home, but your livelihood is also not affected by the environment or economy (per se).

If you have a passion for travelling, this is the RIGHT time to start a travel blog.

How To Start A Blog In Malaysia?

How to start a blog in Malaysia? In this article, I’m going to show you exactly how you can start a blog under RM250 per year and generate over USD$25,000 with a blog.

If this sounds too good to be true, it is not.

I will share with you my exact earnings I had generated in 2019 and how you can replicate the exact same success like I do.

Let us start with a quick introduction on myself and a table of content.

    Table of Contents

    Who Is Reginald Chan?

Born and raised in Malaysia, Reginald started blogging back in 2004. It all started as a leisure hobby and turned out to be a full-fledged business that made me not only financially independent,

I was given the opportunity to become a TEDx speaker and other speaking and coaching gigs around the world.

And now, I want to focus my time with my fellow Malaysians. This guide, How To Start A Blog In Malaysia [The ULTIMATE Guide] is just one part of it!

How Much Can You Earn As A Blogger In Malaysia?

I love Malaysia (KeranaMu Malaysia) and I love the conversion rates even more. As a blogger, I work with overseas brands, mainly in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. This allows me to enjoy a higher payout, one which deem to be ‘cheap’ for foreigners.

As a blogger in Malaysia, it is rather hard to get money transferred to our local bank accounts (Strip is STILL not available in Malaysia). So my only options are PayPal and Payoneer.

Here’s my earning from PayPal for the year 2019.

    Blog Earnings In 2019

I made $17,299 and after conversion from USD to MYR, I made approximately RM69,368.99 (with the conversion rate 4.01). On average, I make around RM5,780.75 per month from blogging alone.

Let’s see how much I made through blogging in 2020 (report taken was from 1st January to 13th March 2020).

    Blog Earnings In 2020

I made $4,366 and after conversion, I made approximately RM17,900.60 (with the conversion rate of 4.1). Not bad, huh?

How Do I Make Money From Blogging?

One of my primary blogs generates over 150,000 views and with over 100,000 unique per month. With this stats, I started reaching out to companies to either collaborate in writing reviews or publishing promotions for them. This is where your make money blogging kicks in!

    But wait!

You might be a blogger (already) and your thoughts that “it is really tough”.

Yes, you are right. It is not easy to make money but it is not impossible.

Carry on reading to find out how I do that (and all you need is to copy and paste).

Setting Up Your Blog For Success

How To Setup A Blog For Success

The first step of making money with a blog in Malaysia is to set up your blog for success. This means that you start by choosing the right platform to blog with.

I know many bloggers in Malaysia who go with Blogspot, but the trick here is NOT to use Blogspot.

If you want to make money with blogging in Malaysia, you need to build a strong brand name for yourself (and your blog).

    Let’s face this.

Most of us (not only Malaysians) are visually convinced. This means that if website visitors will have more trust in you if they land in a well-designed blog.

Website development can be fairly expensive (costs around RM1,000 to RM5,000 per project). But, here’s the cheaper option to start a blog in Malaysia.

    Follow this steps.

Step 1: Get a domain name AND a web hosting service

    Get A Blog Domain Name

Choose a blog name and next, subscribe for a web hosting service. At this point of writing, Exabytes is offering an awesome 15% discount on .com domains (RM53.46 per year) and premium WordPress hosting at only RM 16 per month.

    Let’s do some math.

    • Domain = RM53.46 per year
    • Web hosting = RM16 per year
    • Total investment = RM245.46 per year

To be honest with you, investing RM245.46 per year is really low compared to what you can potentially earn in return. For example, one of my website is hosted on Exabytes SSD VPS (Plesk SSD VPS) that costs around RM6,000 a year. I am willing to spend such value because the amount I am generating from the blog surpasses what I had invested in.

If Exabytes is not your cup of tea, you can consider using BlueHost hosting that comes with domain and web hosting at $3 per month (really, really affordable for beginners). Click here to try BlueHost.

Step 2: Setting Up Your WordPress Blog

How To Setup A WordPress In Malaysia

The next step is important. Every successful blog has:

    • Professional layout/design works
    • Landing pages
    • Contact us page
    • Categories
    • Newsletter sign up form

Here’s how to setup your WordPress blog in Malaysia without spending more money.

Free WordPress Theme. There are many free WordPress themes that you can download directly from the WordPress repository. I recommend you to install WordPress themes created by WordPress themselves. For example, the Twenty Twenty theme.

Premium WordPress Theme. If you are affordable, using a premium WordPress theme helps you to create beautiful WordPress themes that are unique to your brand. Plus, it also removes the hassle of trying to modify or customize the theme as most premium WordPress themes come with drag and drop builder. Two popular options are Thrive Themes and Divi Theme.

Plugins. WordPress plugins are used to ensure that you can enjoy several advanced features without using a single line of code. There are several essential plugins that you should be using. Here is the list:

Step 3: Decide The Type Of Content To Publish

Publish A Blog Post In Malaysia

This is a crucial step. You need to determine the type of content you are going to publish on your blog. Of course, you would have a strong idea on the overall/general niche.

Therefore, I’m not going down with the route that you should do go for the best paying niche because if it is a niche that you don’t have interest in, you are not going to perform well.

The best way to find a topic that you are interested in and build content topics around it.

This steps involves doing some keyword research for SEO.

How To Do Keyword Research Properly For Your Blog?

    1. Use SEO tools to search for keywords with low competition keywords
    2. Focus on general keywords with has large number of searches
    3. Using the same keyword, add other forms of ‘multipliers’ such as best, top, cheap and location

For example, the term “paintball boots” garners thousands of searches each month.

By focusing on a specific keyword such as “best paintball boots for beginners” or “cheap paintball boots under $50” will help your blog post ranks fast and higher on search engines.

What is the best SEO tool for bloggers in Malaysia?

Most SEO tools are charged in USD (thus, it is like 4x more expensive). But SEO tools are important if you want to rank well in blogging.

Here are the best SEO tools I had used and I highly recommend you to check them out:

Not sure how to use them? Here are two resources for you.

Bonus: Before hitting the publish button, make sure you use free grammar checker to check on your blog post content. For this, I use Grammarly and by far, it is the best (for value) in the market.

    Step 4: Get Google Adsense

Make Money Blogging In Malaysia With Adsense

When you first start your blog, you won’t get much traffic and Google Adsense won’t be much help.

    BUT …

You still need to install Google Adsense to ensure that you are keeping every opportunity to monetize your blog available.

A blogger makes a lot of money from Google Adsense when the blog is generating over 100,000 visits a month. Plus, you stand higher chance to earn better earnings if majority of the blog traffic comes from United States, United Kingdom or Europe.

Google Adsense is great because for a Malaysian, the exchange rate from USD to MYR is very good.

How much you earn is based on the industry you are in. For example, if you are blogging about financials and banking, you stand a higher chance to earn more money (few dollars per click) compared to the blogging niche (under one dollar per click).

    Step 5: Affiliate Marketing

Malaysian Bloggers Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

If you are a blogger in Malaysia and want to make some money online, affiliate marketing is definitely the way to go.

Affiliate marketing is a term used by bloggers who promote certain products on their blogs. It can range from reviews, advertising banners and many others.

You only get paid for every sale you make.

Affiliate marketing is my top method of generating thousands of dollars each month with minimum effort.

How to find the best affiliate marketing for your niche?

Head over to Google and type this into the search column: “your general keyword” + affiliate program.

The approval process could be a pain the ass for some companies, but trust me, it is worth the time!

I recommend you to work with overseas companies because of the conversion rates.

Same amount of work = Higher earnings

    Step 6: Create Newsletter

Use Newsletter To Earn Money As A Malaysian Blogger

Last but not least, keeping your website visitors is an important step for bloggers.

With Google algorithm keep changing, it is challenging to constantly be on the top of the search ranking.

So, how to start a newsletter campaign as a Malaysian blogger?

    Let’s be honest.

The best email marketing solution is charged in USD and it is really expensive for Malaysians (especially when you are just starting to become a bloggers).

Your answer is to use MailChimp. MailChimp offers free email marketing up to 2,000 email subscribers and and 10,000 email deliveries per month.

While I use MailChimp for some of my smaller blogs, it is important to understand that affiliate marketing is not allowed in MailChimp. This means that you cannot promote products using MailChimp if you have no affiliation to them.

I use AWeber for all my blogs and I totally love it. It may not be the cheapest in town, but it is by far the most reliable one that I have tested so far! Click here for free 30-days trial (no credit card required).

    Step 7: Finding Opportunities

Find For Opportunity To Make Money Online Malaysia

The last step involves finding opportunities to make money for your blog.

Starting a blog in Malaysia and making money from blogging requires you to be constantly aware of the opportunities that arise.

For example, if you have a blog with high number of visitors (more than 50,000 visits per month), you need to focus more on ways to monetize your blog.

This means that you need to find for other options that will help you make more money with the same effort.

For blogs with decent amount of traffic, you will start getting requests for sponsored posts. SEO agencies will reach out to you and ask if you are able to publish a blog post for them and linking back to their client’s site.

How Much Can I Earn From Sponsored Posts?

The charges for sponsored posts depends heavily in your blog domain rating. On average, you can earn a decent $20 to $200 per sponsored blog post.

    Tips For Sponsored Posts

Google and other search engines are NOT fond of sponsored posts. Therefore, you need to make sure that you are careful with the link backs and you only hand pick the links.

Plus, it is important to use sponsored posts as a supplement to your daily, weekly or monthly blog publishing, and not just to start a blog in Malaysia to earn money through sponsored post.

Summary How To Start A Blog In Malaysia And Make Money Online?

Starting a blog in Malaysia is by far the best decision I had made in the online marketing career.

Not only that this had helped me to be financially independent, it had opened many doors for me, including speaking opportunities and networking with the best entrepreneurs in the world.

I hope that you find this article useful and ask me anything in the comments below.

Do you REALLY want to start an online business in 2020?

You want to know how to start an online business in 2020 but you have no idea where to start. Just like most of us, you want to start an online business with zero investment and low risk.

But, how do you achieve such feat? Today, I’m sharing my online journey with you, one that I had started since 2004. What you will get in this posts are:

    • My frustrations

I’m serious when I say that “I understand.” I wanted to do more than just a 9 to 5 job. I wanted to live my life and still make a living for my family. Starting an online business helped me grow more than I can ever imagine.

    • Taking the leap of faith

Starting an online business in 2020 doesn’t mean that you can ditch your day job. At least, not yet. It involves planning and strategy to create strong passive income before you can leave your job permanently.

    • Step by step guide in building an online business

Anyone can start an online business but only the 1% made it to the ‘hall of fame.’ here, we will discuss some of the common struggles and the important steps you need to grow your online business.

Without further delay, let’s start learning.

    Table of Contents

Frustration lead me to online business

    Frustration In Workplace

    Here’s my story.

I have a day job and they pay me well. The benefits were good too, and I was able to put food on the table for my family. With the salary I was earning, it was easy to consider that I’m in the highest tier for an employee in my country. I was well making over $100,000 a year (that’s approximately $8,333 per month).

I work for years (one company to another) and what grew was just two things—higher position in the company and better salary. Deep inside, I wasn’t growing as much as I thought it would.

As a matter of fact, I was dying inside. I spend so much time at work that I neglected my own self and my family.

You see, I was doing quite okay. As a salaried-employee, I was also working on my side hustle. I did some blogging works, buying/selling domains and some other freelance geeks. A good month could see me cashing out over $15,000 in total income and a normal month would be over $10,000 without fail.

One day, I decided to stop. Stop doing things for others a.k.a. making dreams of others a reality and focus on my OWN dreams.

    • I wanted financial freedom.
    • I wanted to start my own online business.
    • I wanted my online business to grow and succeed.

But it is not easy. It takes a lot of courage to go from easy salary to not easy salary. Being an entrepreneur, there is NO guarantee on how much you can earn each month. There are many low months where I make just $1,000 (which is barely enough for my family to survive).

But as the saying goes, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

I made my first financial break 3 years into my online venture. I started doing “online stuffs” in 2004 and in 2007, I was making rather decent income from the Internet.

Starting an online business is not easy

Starting An Online Business In 2020

If you want to start an online business in 2020, hear me out.

You need to trust yourself, in your product/service/program. Your best friends, family members and the ones you really believe in will try to talk you out from starting your own online business.

Well, they do no harm—because they care for you (and they are afraid if you will fail).

The problem is this. If you are NOT taking the leap of faith by starting an online business in 2020, you are not fulfilling yourself.

You may earn a large sum of money and have the best career one could ever imagine. But if you are unfulfilled deep inside, you are a complete failure in life. That’s the ULTIMATE failure.

There an important disclaimer right here.

I started not just one online business, but several online businesses. Here are some of them:

    • I started blogging (learn how to start a blog now)
    • I invested and promoted several network marketing programs which I believed in
    • I launched my own freelancing ‘agency’
    • I buy and sell domains
    • I invested (heavily) in some ponzi schemes for fast returns (high risk investments)

Looking back, I had a lot on my plate. And until today, my back-then girlfriend (now wife) didn’t knew I maxed out all my credit cards hoping for a big break.

I knew I had to take the risk—and I’m willing to go all in to achieve my goals.

    Failures, failures and more failures

    Failures

Were you hoping for some childhood story type of scenario where I found my big break and became a millionaire? No, not even close yet.

I hit the ceiling in my credit score (that’s bad, okay) and I nearly went bankrupt (not once, not twice but thrice). Even at the point of giving up, I did not. I continue to grind on for another 2 years.

Hoping between jobs hoping for higher pay while still working on my goals.

In 2007, I had my big break.

    The long awaited life-line

    Helping Hands In Online Business

One of my blog that I had been on (for over 3 years) started to rank well on Google. Like really well—top spot on Google for a competitive keyword.

    Now, you might be wondering.

    • What did I do?
    • Why am I sharing all this?

The answer is simple. I been through some tough times and I understand how it felt like. In recent years, I had two kids of my own and I gave them the opportunity to explore the world. I’m not hoping for them to be great doctors or lawyers, I want them to be happy.

And in order to achieve that, we need to give them the opportunity to try. With proper guidance, anyone can succeed!

Getting started with online business in 2020

Want To Start An Online Business In 2020

The easiest way to start an online business in 2020 is to define the platform you want to use.

It can be video (YouTube), blogging or freelancing. What matters most is that you are able to sustain and maintain the same ‘output’ in producing content constantly without fail, without getting bored and more importantly, without burning yourself out.

In the next paragraph, I’m going to show you exactly how to start an online business in 2020 through blogging.

If you prefer freelancing, you should read this guide instead: How I made $3k+ a month with Upwork without much experience {and investment)?

Start An Online Blog With A Niche

    Find Your Blog Niche

Most bloggers start a blog by registering a domain and getting a web hosting plan. While those are critical, they shouldn’t be the top priority.

Instead, focus on finding the right NICHE for your online business.

My definition of niche is simply finding a topic that you are deeply interested in (one that you don’t mind losing your sleep over).

    Here’s a little about me:

    • I like going for holidays
    • I like spending time with my family
    • I love making money online
    • I love having fun with paintball
    • I love WordPress and web development stuffs

I like a lot of things, but am only passionate on a few items in life. The above lead me to launch this blog, ReginaldChan.net (for make money tips), AngryPaintball.com (for my passion in painballing) and WPMaven.net (for WordPress related matters).

As a co-founder who manages my own digital marketing agency, managing three blogs (not included my company blog), I have a lot on my plate.

Yes, I sleep about 5 hours each day and I had absolutely no problem with that. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed crafting actionable blog posts like this one all the time.

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

Passion drives you (far and wide)

There is no denial that passion is required for you to be successful in your online business in 2020.

Working on your passion will help you grow your business especially when you are starting a business from scratch.

How to start an online business with blogging?

    Blogging Online Business 2020

Once you had define your niche, you start by thinking about starting a blog. I know there are many influencers bloggers and brands who say that you need to find a profitable niche.

    But that’s wrong.

Every niche can be monetized and every niche is marketable. The amount of money you can earn from that given niche depends deeply in your skill in persuasion.

So, let’s get started by (yes!) starting a blog.

    1. Get A Domain Name

Get a dot com or dot net, and get over it. Do not overthink.

One of the biggest mistakes we made is by thinking what’s good and what could be better.

Even worst, we change our minds more than three times at the check out page (when choosing a domain name). This shit happens.

If you really need some help choosing a domain name, here are some great ways to choose a domain name.

    2. Get A Reliable Web Hosting

Reliable Web Hosting For Online Business 2020

A good web hosting goes a long way. Having a reliable web hosting company is like working with the right electrical company that powers your house. Without electric, there will be no lights, heater and security alarm.

A reliable web hosting company offers:

    • Good uptime and close to no downtime
    • Supports you when you need it (like when you get hacked)
    • Multiple datacenters that you can choose from
    • Affordable pricing (that doesn’t burn a hole in your wallet)

If you are on a tight budget and just starting out with your online business, going with BlueHost makes it really easy for you. With 1-click WordPress installation and excellent pricing (as low as $2.49 per month with free domain and SSL certificate), this is definitely a steal. Plugins are meant to help you achieve specific goals in WordPress without you needing to hard code your site. This means that you can spend more time creating content that sells, instead of focusing on web development which you might not be good in.

  • Writing Quality Content Has Never Been More Important Than It Is Now. Here’s Why.

Writing Quality Content Has Never Been More Important Than It Is Now. Here’s Why.

We all write for different reasons, but the one thing that will always remain true, regardless of the reasons we write, is that blogging is a very effective way to get your ideas across to your audience. Whether you’re a writer who simply wants to share your thoughts to your audience, or if you’re a business that wants to make sure that your prospective buyers are able to find information on your business and what you’re selling, a blog is an essential component of any digital marketing campaign.

As digital marketers, we are all aware of the prime importance of good written content. It not only demonstrates that we are credible and trustworthy figures in our chosen field of expertise, but it is also an opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of our knowledge and the quality of our service.

But the importance of good written content goes beyond these obvious reasons. After all, nobody wants to read a piece that’s as bland as a meal that’s cooked without spices. As technology continues to develop at an ever-increasing rate, the effects that these technologies have on various aspects of life become more apparent and more impactful. The realm of digital marketing is not exempted from this.

    Personalized Content

Artificial intelligence will be able to process huge amounts of data and to assimilate this information into current databases. This is what’s going to allow it to do predictive analysis that will also allow it to determine what content to recommend to a user. The determination will be based on how the user reacted to previous content, making patterns more evident. If your content clicks with a certain demographic, then it’s more likely to also be deemed interesting by other members of that demographic.

Voice Search SEO And Smart Assistants

The use of smart speakers is becoming more and more mainstream. This technology has slowly made its way into many households and this is also indicative that there is indeed a viable market for the smart home. This means that a lot of search queries are going to be performed in a more conversational tone. The use of keywords may still be useful here, but it’s going to take a backseat in favor of more natural and more conversational content. All you have to do is to look at copy that ranks well in search to see that this is becoming the norm.

    User Intent

Artificial intelligence will also be able to identify user intent, whether it’s informational, transactional, or navigational. This means that you have to be clear on what type of content you’re trying to write while also making sure that your content is written in a manner that’s as easy to read as possible.

The world of technology is once again moving forward. With the introduction of technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the internet of things, it’s easy to see that we’re about to experience a lot of change. While not everybody is welcoming to change, the single immutable, unwritten rule about change is that people should prepare for a challenge rather than brace for a disaster.
